WoW Dragonflight: Which faction for which profession? Farming reputation is worth it here

Where should I actually farm Dragonflight reputation in WoW? Some players are wondering. MeinMMO reveals which of the 4 major factions you can learn new recipes and professional knowledge from.

Professions and crafting are more important again in WoW Dragonflight and you can even use them to create really strong items. But first you have to skill the corresponding professions.

For many manufacturing professions, at skill 70 or so, the limit is reached, from which point it is very slow or expensive to get skill points or gain knowledge.

Why you should farm reputation: However, you get both new recipes and knowledge simply by increasing your Fame with the new factions in the expansion. This includes epic trinkets, armor and more.

Some of the recipes are so strong that crafting is one of the best ways to get strong gear at level 70. In the guide, we tell you how to get stronger in Dragonflight from level 70.

But for each profession you need other factions. We provide you with an overview of which faction serves your profession.

Recipes and knowledge for every profession

Where can I get knowledge? At Fame levels 14 and 24, you gain access to “Crafting Knowledge” with the factions. Each time you get 5 points of knowledge, which you can distribute freely in the respective profession – a total of 20 points of knowledge per profession.

The best way to get reputation is through the regularly appearing events, such as the Siege of the Dragonbane Fortress, the Feast of the Iskaara or the Great Hunt, as well as through world quests, side quests and reputation items that you can turn in repeatedly.

Incidentally, the manufacturing professions also receive additional recipes from the same factions, but at different fame levels. If you create a new recipe for the first time, you will also receive a point of knowledge as well as a big chunk of experience, which you can use to level up easily if you still have to.

You can also get more recipes from other sources, such as PvP, which is worth it if you want to gather a little more knowledge. There are also certain recipes, for example when fishing, but also in activities in the open world and in the first raid, which starts on December 14th.

How can I increase my knowledge even more? You get knowledge in different ways:

• when collecting you can find corresponding items for the collecting profession
• the scattered backpacks of the expedition can contain corresponding knowledge items
• in the world there are 57 treasures that increase your knowledge
• you can find epic dragon shards of knowledge and exchange them for any knowledge in your professions

Make sure you distribute your knowledge correctly. While you can eventually learn all talents, it becomes increasingly difficult to acquire new knowledge and you cannot reset talent points. In our guide we explain more about how you can skill professions the fastest:
