Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will start Mid-Season 1 on December 14 at 7 p.m. All content from the Reloaded update and download details can be found on MeinMMO in the overview.

Every few weeks, Call of Duty brings new, free content to its current shooters on PC and console. Next up is Mid-Season 1.

Included is the 6v6 map “Shipment” for MW2, a crazy football mode for Warzone 2 and a new area called “Building 21” for DMZ mode.

CoD MW2 & Warzone 2: Everything for download & content

When is the update coming? According to the current status, CoD MW2 and Warzone 2 will start on December 14 at 7 p.m. German time.

How big will the update be? There is no information about this yet. However, based on the announcements, we expect an update between 5 and 10 GB.

Is there a preload? There is currently no indication of a preload for update 1.12.

What’s in the update? Right at the start of the mid-season, a double XP event will start on the PlayStation. A day later, the other platforms will also be able to enjoy the extra experience.

Otherwise you can expect the following things from Mid-Season 1:

  • PvE content: The first CoD raid
  • New map for MW2: Shipment
  • Gameplay stats for Warzone 2

It is not entirely clear whether all content will be available at the start of the mid-season. 2 new modes for Warzone 2 have been announced, but it is unlikely that both modes will be launched at the same time. The CoD blog on the subject indicates that the mini royale will come later.
