GoG Winter Sale: The third free game is here
The winter sale of the sales platform GoG runs until January 2nd, 2023, now there is the third of six promised free games. Adventure fans can look forward to a classic.

Broken Bane: The Director’s Cut is here
After the game Ghost of a Tale had already been made available as a free download in the past few days, GoG followed up with the action role-playing game King of Seas. So now there will be a third game in the next 72 hours or so – adventure fans should be happy.
with Broken Bane: The Director’s Cut, also known as Broken Sword, is a retro adventure game from developer Revolution Software. In the classic adventure game, the clever journalist Nico Collard and the intrepid American George Stobbart embark on a “mysterious journey full of mysteries and dangers”. In the point-and-click adventure, you lead George and Nico around the world, explore exotic locations, solve ancient mysteries and foil a sinister conspiracy surrounding the secret truths of the Knights Templar.
Broken Bros: Director’s Cut features a new story arc in addition to the classic story, told from Nico’s perspective. This makes the adventure a good two hours longer. But you can also just play the original. The game is advertised as a “timeless adventure about conspiracies”. The graphics are hand-drawn and enhanced with animated cutscenes and HD resolution. The whole thing was released on GoG in August 2008. The user ratings are 4.6 out of 5.
The most heavily reduced games in the GoG Winter Sale with discounts of 90 percent are currently Deponia 2: Chaos of Deponia (1.99 instead of 19.99 euros), that GoG Strategy Bundle (3.79 instead of 37.69 euros) or the Stronghold Crusader 2: Special Edition (2.99 instead of 29.99 euros). The winter sale may also be interesting for The Witcher fans, because both the The Witcher: Enhanced Edition as well as the The Witcher 2 Assassin’s of Kings Enhanced Edition are available at a discount of 85 percent.
