Microsoft will soon remove a number of well-known Xbox 360 games from the marketplace

Microsoft has announced that it will remove a number of Xbox 360 games from the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

Starting February 7, 2023, some titles will be dropped, the exact number differs from country to country.

Which games does it hit?

Among other things, you will no longer be able to buy games like Mass Effect 2, Dark Souls, Dead Space 2 and Darksiders 2 online. Smaller titles like Limbo and Castle Crashers will also be dropped.

The important thing is that you can no longer buy these games on the Xbox 360 only. You can still buy and play them via backwards compatibility on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
