Innersloth creators of Among Us announce game plans for this 2023

Developer Innersloth has shared your development plans for the next 12 months of the success of social deduction Among Us, confirming that the coming year will bring matchmaking improvements and a whole new map.

Innersloth’s roadmap is a bit light in terms of ETAs, but its first order of business – UI and UX updates for Among Us – are said to be “coming soon”.

“We want to make playing Among Us an easier and more intuitive experience”the developer explained in a post accompanying its new roadmap. “This means a huge focus on adding multiple updates to the UI and UX… of the game. Clean up the account merge flow, update the store to make it easier to navigate, making it easier to see how you can report a toxic player. .. these are all the things we want to work on, and more”.

Then later in the year, though “in no particular order,” as Innserloth points out, Among Us will receive a fifth map, improved matchmaking, a quick chat redesign, more collaborations, and “more.”

The studio is keeping quiet on the subject of the new map for now, but promises “all new tasks for you to discover”as well as more cosmetics and “hidden fun surprises. Innersloth also addresses some of the game’s upcoming additions in more detail, noting that the goal of the matchmaking improvement will be to make it easier and faster for players to find games, while the quick chat redesign will bring refined dialogue options and easier navigation.
