Monster Hunter: World: Hunting Game reaches 18.6 million units sold

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Rumor: Customizable Kill Cams Coming Soon

With 18.6 million units sold, Monster Hunter World has cemented its title as Capcom’s most successful game of all time.

Japanese developer Capcom recently released one list with updated sales figures for its platinum titles, which include the various offshoots of the Monster Hunter series.

The list shows that Monster Hunter World remains the publisher’s best-selling title of all time, with a total of 18.6 million units sold. Since June 30, 2022, the record has been expanded by a further 300,000 units.

After its switch release in March 2021, Monster Hunter Rise, which was recently available for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and via Xbox Game Pass, can also show more than decent numbers with 11.7 million sales.

Since the list only takes into account sales up to December 31, 2022, it can be assumed that the units sold by Monster Hunter Rise will be significantly higher thanks to the newly released versions.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has sold over 10 million units and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has sold over 5 million.
