WoW Patch 10.0.7: New deer mount costs a chunk of elemental abundance
With patch 10.0.7 of WoW: Dragonflight, the Primal Storm resource Elemental Abundance gets a new benefit. Among other things, you can buy a brand new deer mount called “Noble Bruffalon” from a merchant. But you have to farm properly for this, because the price is tough.
With the recent update to the PTR of WoW Dragon Flight Patch 10.0.7 a new mount was discovered. The Noble Bruffalon stag mount can be acquired in the new Forbidden Island zone, but comes at a hefty price. And we don’t mean the price of gold, but the amount of elemental abundance.
Previously, you received this resource through the Primal Storms events when you defeated opponents. Most enemies will drop a handful of elemental abundance, the “Noble Bruffalon” costs you a whopping 10,000 elemental abundance. So if you want, you can already start farming, or wait for the release of patch 10.0.7, which will make it easier to obtain elemental abundance.
More elemental abundance on the Forbidden Island
All mobs drop elemental abundance on the endgame island. A primeval storm does not have to be active. This makes farming for the deer mount easier. Mobs also drop significantly more of the resource on the test realm. For example, from elite opponents you get several dozen elemental abundance. There are also some daily quests that reward you with up to 1,000 elemental abundance!
The amount of 10,000 elemental abundance no longer seems quite so unreachable. The Forbidden Island is the starting area for the Dracthyr Callers, which we are currently not allowed to return to. Despite the relatively small area, the island is riddled with treasures and rare enemies that drop a lot of elemental abundance. You will also encounter rare opponents in new mini-event Vaults of Zskeraabout her the special Primordial Stones received.
