Story information

What we know about the game so far: The events in God of War Ragnarök begin a few years after God of War (2018). During this time, a strong relationship of trust developed between the protagonist Kratos and his son Atreus. The latter is very curious and determined to protect his family in a conflict with the gods instead of standing idly by. His father Kratos, on the other hand, wants to protect him from the possible suffering that could be brought about by a god conflict.

The adversaries, two in number, with Freya and Thor, also play an important role in God of War Ragnarök. The former ally Freya wants revenge on Kratos for the death of her son Baldur at the end of God of War (2018) – enraged and with every weapon at her disposal. Thor also had to suffer severe losses with his sons and his half-brother, which is why his bloodthirstiness is directed against Kratos and Atreus. In any case, he is said to already hold the title of the most powerful Aesir god.

combat system

Details are also known about the future combat system. Combos as well as the mastery of elements and defensive tactics should belong to the repertoire of father Kratos and son Atreus.
