Sonic the Hedgehog 3 hits theaters in December 2024

The second film based on Sonic the Hedgehog was only released this year and the third one has already been confirmed.

Paramount Pictures and Sega have announced a specific date for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on Twitter.

No hibernation

The blue hedgehog does not hibernate and should therefore be in cinemas for a third time on December 20, 2024.

Of course, only if there are no delays by then. First of all, assume that this date does not necessarily apply to Germany, deviations are possible.

As of June, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has grossed $400 million in theaters worldwide. The film was able to surpass the first part (320 million) by quite a bit.

Also in 2024, a live-action series starring Knuckles is slated to launch. Seems like Paramount has discovered his love for Sonic and co.
