I’m Groot: MCU fan favorite convinces with show – criticism

Also, the little I am Groot adventures are all kept quite simple and therefore extremely entertaining. Each story has a little twist at the end that should leave you with a laugh or at least a smile.
The comedy usually results from that Contrast between Groot’s really cute looks and his sometimes questionable actions. It’s a rather dirty humor, partly already known from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, and yes, our little fan favorite is one rather bad guy. However, due to its extremely cute appearance, we can don’t really be angry.
Also, we can’t be angry at all those responsible for the CGI effects, because these are absolutely excellent. It is a in many scenes photorealistic look, which the makers of the new MCU series conjure up on the screen here. It doesn’t matter whether Groot wanders through the dark corridors of the Milano or by accident discovered an alien civilizationall of which looks simply excellent and evokes this Marvel adventure that is just 20 minutes long believable to life.
“I am Groot” is definitely aimed at all those MCU fans who even more time want to spend with the lovable alien. This, in turn, proves very nicely in the five short stories that it can certainly shoulder its own series.
It is a thoroughly amusing fun, which is over as quickly as it began. We would have loved to have watched Groot do more escapades.
