German charts: Steelrising hits the podium

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

Steelrising made it onto the podium in the German games charts, but had to admit defeat in the end.

Not big, but messy: In Splatoon 3, ink-soaked battles ensure maximum fun. The latest part of the colorful shooter series also ends the summer-related dry spell in the physical games market – and makes a good contribution to the fact that the strongest sales are currently being measured in six weeks. In the official German switch charts, determined by GfK Entertainment, the third-person hit takes the top spot. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe retreats to second place.

Not only fans of the German national team are currently in basketball fever, but also buyers of NBA 2K23. They heave the sports simulation from a standing start onto the PS4 throne. Seventh place jumps out in the Xbox Series ranking, while in the PS5 evaluation, thanks to the standard variant (two) and Michael Jordan Edition (four), the double entry is successful. Top dog remains The Last Of Us Part I.

Set in an alternate version of the French Revolution, Steelrising fights its way to PS5 bronze.

In the Xbox Series charts, the hilarious tale of a robot lady who wants to take down the mechanical army of her despotic king even makes it to second position behind Saints Row (Day One Edition). The other big winners are still GTA V (Xbox One), Farming Simulator 22 (PC) and Pokémon Ultramond (3DS).
