Pokemon Crimson and Crimson: Defeat Charizard – With these three Pokemon, you’ll succeed in catching
How to catch Charizard: Charizard is only in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson for a limited time, so hurry up if you want the popular dragon on your team. Each from 2.12. until 4.12. and from 16.12. until 18.12. Do you have a chance to catch Charizard? To ensure that you succeed, you should compete in the demanding 7-star raids with the following Pokémon.
- azumarill
- flutter hair
- Gardevoir
Azumarill: Azumarill is a Water and Fairy-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation 2. In Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, it becomes very useful for fighting Charizard because of its resistance to Dragon and Fire-type attacks. However, you should not just send the Pokémon into the hard raid, you have to consider the following things beforehand:
- This is what your Azumarill needs:
- levels: 100
- Item: shell bell
- Capability: powerhouse
- EV’s: 252 HP / 252 ATK
- essence: Hard
- attacks: Belly Drum, Cuddler, Light Shield, Right Hand
flutter hair: Flutterhair is one of the new ninth generation Pokémon. However, the Ghost and Fairy-type Pokémon can only be found in Pokémon Crimson. So if you own Crimson and haven’t traded Fuzzy Hair yet, you should use Azumarill or Gardevoir. If you already have the new Pokémon on your team, it can come in very handy when fighting Charizard. You should note that:
- This is what your fluttering hair needs:
- levels: 100
- Item: invisibility cloak
- Capability: paleosynthesis
- EV’s: 252 SpA / 252 SpV
- essence: Moderate
- attacks: Thief’s kiss, thoughts, deceptive tears, moon violence
Wardrobe: Gardevoir is a Psychic and Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation 3. The hug Pokémon is also a good choice for fighting Charizard. In order for your gardevoir to reach its full potential, you should consider the following:
- This is what your gardevoir needs:
- levels: 100
- Item: invisibility cloak
- Capability: Capture
- EV’s: 4 CP / 252 SpA / 252 SpV
- essence: Moderate
- attacks: Thief’s kiss, thoughts, deceptive tears, moon violence
Changing EVs and Essences: If your Pokémon do not have the required EVs, you can have them adjusted in Frigomonta by the special trainer for bottle caps, this applies to all Pokémon in the guide. To change the nature of one of your Pokémon, you must buy the corresponding mint in the Chansey Apothecary.
Pokemon Crimson and Crimson: Catch Charizard – You have to do that beforehand
You have to do this: In order to even be able to compete against Charizard in the 7-star raids, you have to have already worked through a whole list of requirements. If you’ve only played Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, you’re looking in vain for the 7-star raids. In order for you to be able to catch the old school starter, you must already have reached the post-game. You have to meet these conditions to meet Charizard:
- reach post game
- Earned Champion Rank
- Defeat all Gym Leaders a second time
- Complete multiple 5-star raids (then unlock 6-star raids)
While this sounds like a tall order, for the price it’s probably worth it. It’s not yet clear if Charizard will appear again in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson at a later date. In Paldea, however, other exciting tasks await you. If you are looking for all the stakes in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, you can use our guide.
