Need for Speed Unbound: Patch 1.5 is live and keeps the money glitch alive
Need for Speed Unbound has received its first patch.
Criterion Games has released a first patch for Need for Speed Unbound. On PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC you can (or rather have to) download version 1.000.005 now. But she only works minimally on the racing game.
How big is the patch? Not very big. You only have to reckon with around 250 MB (PS5) when downloading.
More stability, less big fixes
What does patch 1.5 change? There are no correct patch notes yet. However, Criterion Games has shared at least small information in a message and also emphasized that this update is necessary before Need for Speed Unbound is launched next time (via Wooco):
On December 12, 2022 we will provide a required update for all platforms. This update does not require downtime, but you will need to download and install the update the next time you launch the game. This update is a small update to fix stability issues related to crashes on all platforms and fix some bugs with permissions.

What about disabling comic book effects? On the other hand, it is questionable whether the developers are even working on letting us completely deactivate the comic elements in a future patch. Don’t count on it until further notice.
