Pokémon GO starts tomorrow’s smoke day with a squeak – all bonuses and shinys

Tomorrow, December 5th, 2021, starts in Pokémon GO a smoke day with squeaks and other ice and ground Pokémon. We at MeinMMO took a look at what spawns and bonuses await you at this event.

What kind of event is it about? The new season, the season of origin, starts directly with a smoke day, with the focus on ice and ground Pokémon. As you can see from the name of the event, they are attracted with the help of a smoke.

When does the event start? Smoke Day will take place tomorrow, December 5th, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. local time. You then have a full 6 hours to catch as many monsters as possible before the event ends at 5:00 p.m.

Smoke day with squeak

Tomorrow’s Smoke Day will focus on the Ice and Ground Pokémon Squeak. It will be caught by smoke for the whole day, i.e. the full 6 hours. The 2nd generation monster can be further developed into Mamutel via Keifel.

Is it strong Quiekel and Keifel are more of the worse monsters in the game and are not used in raids or the PvP league. This is different, however, with Mamutel, the latest further development of Quiekel.

Mamutel can score with a strong attack and good endurance. It also has a strong Move Set, which is why it is one of the best Ice Attackers in Pokémon GO.

But not only in raids you can safely fall back on Mamutel. It can also convince in the champions league and is one of the top candidates (via pvpoke.com).

Are there squeaks as shiny? Yes, with a little luck you may come across a dazzling specimen. You can recognize it by its green body.

More smoke day spawns

Which monsters will there still be? During Smoke Day you will encounter numerous ice and ground Pokémon in addition to squeaks. These are also attracted by your smoke. You can also look forward to the following monsters:

• Ice-Pokémon: Jurob *, Rossana *, Sniebel *, Schneppke *, Gelatini and Galar-Flampion
• Ground Pokémon: Onix *, Tragosso *, Rhyhorn *, Felino *, Phanpy, Schmerbe * and Larvitar *

Unlike what you are used to from other events such as Community Day, the selected monsters do not all spawn over the entire period. With the exception of Squeak, the remaining Ice and Ground Pokémon have the following timing.	time

Is the Antik-Kraft charging attack worth it?

If you develop Keifel into Mamutel during the event, it will receive the antique power charge attack. The attack is a rock attack. Even without this attack, Mamutel is one of the strongest attackers in the game. With the help of the new charge attack you can get 45 damage in trainer battles and 70 damage in raids or arena battles.

If you play against other coaches, then you should rather rely on Mamutel’s strong ice attack. If a rock attack is required in combat, you are better positioned with a rock edge, as this achieves significantly higher damage with a little more energy.

In raids and arena battles, however, the new attack can be useful because it loads quickly and does a lot of damage there.
