Hoopa heads up Pokémon Go’s mischief season

In the immediate aftermath of the events related to Pokémon Go Fest 2021, Hoopa and his antics continue in a new season of content for the mobile app. Nicknamed the Season of Mischief, Trainers will complete Special Research objectives to find the smallest version of the legendary djinn, Confined Hoopa.

From September 1 to December 1, the special research story in Pokémon Go about the exploits of Hoopa will begin. Throughout the Season of Mischief, more will be revealed about Pokémon as more tasks become available. As the research tasks are completed, the Mischief Pokémon will be available to catch. However, Hoopa will not be available for transfer to Pokémon Home or other games in the series at this time.

Shortly after, on September 5, a strange phenomenon begins around the world. Distributions of Psychic-type, Dark-Type and Ghost-type Pokémon will alternate throughout the day. Trainers will be able to find some of these Pokémon and more throughout the day in the wild or lured with lures: Exeggecute, Jynx, Natu, Spoink, Girafarig, Beldum, Alolan Rattata, Poochyena, Duskull, Purrloin, Sableye, Carvanha, and Drifloon. .

Also available at the event:

• Collection challenges with Pokémon attracted to incense
• Double Candy for Pokémon Transfers
• A free incense pack in the store.
• Field research task that rewards rare candies and various types of Pokéballs

More events and activities are planned through November, and the next confirmed dates are September 8th and 21st.

Entering the Season of Mischief is a huge reorganization for the regularly available Pokémon in each of Ditto’s biome, hemisphere, eggs, and transformations. While more can be found through these means, here are some Pokémon Trainers you can find and where they are accessible:
