Pokémon Pearl / Diamond: There is a new glitch with which you can clone items and Pokémon
In Pokémon Radiant Diamond and Shining Pearl, a glitch was recently removed that allows you to duplicate items and Pokémon. But resourceful fans have already discovered the next trick that enables exactly the same. This means that you can still clone your Pokémon or items to your heart’s content, even if you have installed the latest update.
Pokémon Shining Diamond and Shining Pearl – this is how the new clone glitch works
What’s the matter? In the latest Pokémon remake called Shining Pearl or Shining Diamond, there was a trick with which you could clone entire Pokémon, but also any item. Because this is of course not intended, Nintendo and ILCA have removed the glitch with the last update without further ado:

But no worry: After the update is known to be before the update. In a sense, the same applies to glitches. Some Pokémon players have now found the next glitch that can be used to clone or duplicate Pokémon and items. In case you have waived the update up to now because of this, you can download it now.
This is how it works: In order to continue to double items and small pocket monsters, you have to take a few steps. This is how the new glitch works:
- You have to stand in front of a Pokémon Center.
- Press R and A repeatedly at the same time, so that you enter the center and at the same time get into the flight menu.
- In the Pokémon Center, carefully move to the elevator and ride it up and down. It’s a bit tricky because you can only hear it and not see it.
- Exit the Pokémon Center.
- Find a place on the map to which you can fly and press A and immediately afterwards press X.
- This should open the menu if your timing is right.
- Check yes to fly there while your menu is open.
- Now you can open the menu again and move Pokémon and items.
- If you leave the menus, the items and Pokémon should be in both places: At their origin and their destination.
Of course, the following applies: Use at your own risk. It should be clear that by duplicating items you “destroy” the game devised by the developers and thus possibly deprive yourself of the fun in the long run.
