According to Leaker, Hogwarts Legacy will have multiplayer and come in late 2022
Hogwarts Legacy takes us into the world of Harry Potter, but that is still taking a while.
Hogwarts Legacy does not have an official release date yet, only the year 2022 has been set. But if you had hoped to get started maybe next month, you probably have to curb the anticipation: According to a new leak, the Harry Potter game will not come to us until the second half of the year. It could then also offer the opportunity to roam the magical world with our best friends and learn witchcraft.

This is what it’s about: Hogwarts Legacy could become the Harry Potter game fans have been waiting for for ages. We are fresh at school, we are allowed to choose our house there, learn magic spells and so on – apparently without any trans-hostile bullshit, as the Harry Potter author is so fond of in the real world.

When is Hogwarts Legacy Coming? 2022 – This was announced in early 2021. But we still don’t know any more. At least not from an official source. But according to a well-known leaker, who was already predicting Quantic Dreams Star Wars game was right, Hogwarts Legacy will not appear until the second half of 2022. At least as long as that doesn’t change.
With Multiplayer? Apparently, the person behind the Twitter account AccNGT has a little more inside information. According to him, Hogwarts Legacy should also include a multiplayer mode. How exactly it looks like is unfortunately not revealed. Just this much: We don’t have to fear a real service game.

Post Launch-Content: AccNGT announces, however, that there are plans to continue to provide Hogwarts Legacy with new content after the release. It will not be revealed whether they are chargeable, come as a Season Pass with large DLCs, are submitted for free or whether they are just small things.
Game still in progress: The game itself is also currently being worked on. Even with the writing, apparently not all parts of the story or at least the game are completely finished. It sounds like there’s still a lot to do, but if it’s only smaller parts, that doesn’t necessarily have to stand in the way of the launch in just under a year – but it could.
This is what the makers say: Warner Bros Games Avalanche says goodbye to next year with a tweet. There is no correct information here, but at least an indication that more news and updates about Hogwarts Legacy will come next year.

Recently there were rumors that a PlayStation event could take place in December. Allegedly, Sony is bringing the PSX back or hosting a new State of Play. Hogwarts Legacy should have been shown, which was at least rumored to be implied. That seems to be off the table with the official announcement from WB Games Avalanche.
