Next PS5 event supposedly in February 2022 – Could show new information about the Harry Potter game

Sony regularly hosts an event around the PS4 and PS5. According to rumors, the next “State of Play” will come in February. Many are now hoping for more information on a Harry Potter game that little is known about.

What kind of event is that? Sony organizes an event called “State of Play” at regular intervals. This is a stream that usually lasts half an hour and where new games for the PS4 and PS5 are presented. The last Sony event took place in October 2021.

Allegedly, the next PS5 event will take place in February 2022. The well-known journalist Tom Henderson had now posted on Twitter (via Twitter.com). In addition to Henderson, others also assume that the next event could take place in February. Because a “State of Play” had also taken place in February 2021 (via blog.playstation.com). A PlayStation event also took place in February in 2019 and 2020.

The rumors for the event are therefore based on past events and do not come from Sony or an employee who told Henderson the information. An official statement or an announcement from Sony has not yet been made either.

The current rumors are that the next Sony event could take place in February based on this month’s media events and past PlayStation dates. It’ll probably be the State of Play, but it has the potential to be a pretty big one in my opinion.

The next PS5 event could show a lot of games that many users are waiting for

What could there be to see? Since it will officially be the first “State of Play” in 2022, many users assume that Sony will present some exciting games here.

There are currently three big games that fans are currently waiting for:

God of War Ragnarök was unveiled last year and is slated for release in 2022, according to Sony (via playstation.com). So it is very likely that Sony could show some gameplay again here.

What kind of game is this? About Hogwarts: Legacy, there was hardly any real gameplay before and little else is known. We know so far that it is an open world role-playing game, the story of which is supposed to take place in the 19th century.

The developers will also deliver something new with the story, as the game is based on the world of JK Rowling, but she herself is not involved. Your own character should then have a typical everyday school life at Hogwarts School.
