MeinMMO introduces you to the best end-of-time games in a post-apocalyptic scenario that you can play on PS4, PC and Xbox One. These are the best games where the world has already ended.

What is end times anyway, what kind of games are they? An “end times” scenario describes a post-apocalyptic world, ie a setting that takes place after a huge catastrophe that has changed the whole world.

The real world or an alternative reality often serves as the setting, for example years or decades after a nuclear war, a natural disaster or some other type of destructive violence.

The games listed here all have in common that you play in a destroyed world and you have to find your way around, survive or rebuild it. There are bleak scenarios in which you have to make the most of the destroyed world.

What is Frostpunk about? In Frostpunk you lead a group of people who were able to flee the now eternal cold after a climate catastrophe in 1886. You are the boss of a city that you should administer and that you help to overcome the cold. Steampunk-like steam technology is available for this, with which you provide warmth.

This is how Frostpunk plays: Frostpunk is based on the need to constantly make difficult decisions: do you force children to work or do you run the risk of generators failing and part of the city freezing to death or starving? Can you keep people happy and still make sure that everything continues under adverse circumstances?
