The last hours of “Mountains of Power” are running in Pokémon GO – what’s next?

In Pokémon GO, Mountains of Power are about to end. Today, January 13th, the event bonuses are over. We’ll show you what’s next in Pokémon GO here.

How long does the event run? Today, January 13th, the event ends at 8:00 p.m. local time. Until then, you can still use bonuses like half the distance to earn hearts with your buddy. After the end of the event, the special wild spawns, raid bosses and field research rewards will change again.

We’ll show you how Pokémon GO will continue afterwards and what events you can prepare for.

You can still use these bonuses for a few hours

• Was? The Mountains of Power event in Pokémon GO
• How long? From January 7th at 10:00 AM to January 13th at 8:00 PM
• Why? Together with your help, Spark wants to unlock a huge door to find out more about the origin. This is one of several steps over the next few weeks and months.

What bonuses are there?

• Halved distance for buddy hearts by walking
• A limited time research with these rewards
• Wild Pokémon such as Machollo, Kleinstein, Schneckmag and Nasgnet
• Raid battles with Onix, Bronzel, Ursaring, Absol
• Encounters with Schneckmag, Alola-Kleinstein or Flunkifer in field research

What are the next events?

So it goes on: There are a few days of event pause in Pokémon GO.

On January 15th, new raids start and Heatran disappears. The next 5 raid is an old friend. Genesect comes into the raids and these are the best counterattacks.

The next bigger event is Community Day with Seemops on the weekend. This is a good opportunity, especially for the trainers among you who are still on the hunt for more experience points. Because during the C-Day on January 16, you will receive three times the catch EP.

An event that lasts for several days will start on January 19th. It is called “Kraftwerk in Kanto”. You should catch electric and steel Pokémon to open the last mechanism of the mysterious door. However, this is probably a bigger task, because the event will run until the beginning of February.
