You finally want to arrive in the current generation of consoles, but still haven’t been able to get hold of a PlayStation 5? Then there is now a way to increase your chances. We’ll tell you how it’s done.

It’s all about this: The PS5 has been out for over a year, but many gamers who want the console haven’t gotten anything. If you want to get hold of a PS5, you have to monitor the availability closely and then strike as quickly as possible at the right moment. If you have not yet succeeded in doing this with the usual retailers, you can try it now by registering with Sony.

That is how it goes: You can now express your interest in a PS5 Register directly with Sony here. You’ll need a PSN ID to do this, so you’ll need to have an account on PlayStation Network. If you don’t have one yet, you can create one there.

Will the console be safe for me then? Unfortunately, no. Signing up is no guarantee of getting the PS5, but it does increase your chances. After registration you will receive detailed instructions on when and how you have the opportunity to buy a PS5 directly from Sony. The hardware manufacturer has announced that a “limited number” of consoles will be available to customers from several European countries, including Germany.
