Godzilla will have its own series and can be seen on Apple TV + very soon.
Apple has struck a deal with Legendary’s Monsterverse franchise to the production of an original series based on one of the most famous monsters in the world: Godzilla. The yet untitled series will be produced by Legendary Television and executive produced by co-creators Chris Black (“Star Trek: Enterprise,” “Outcast”), who will also serve as showrunner, and Matt Fraction (“Hawkeye”), along with Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell of Safehouse Pictures, and Toho, the owner of the Godzilla character.

This series is expected continue the movie story of the MonsterVerse, consisting of Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). It seems that the series will tell us about the journey of a family to discover the secrets of a government organization known as Monarch, which plays an important role in “defending the world from creatures like Godzilla and the other Titans”.
Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that swept through San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real, the series explores one family’s journey to uncover their buried secrets and a legacy that binds them to the secret organization known as like monarch.
For the moment no release dates are known for this promising series, nor when the recording will begin or actors who will participate. This new series will join the increasingly extensive catalog of Apple TV +, which continues to maintain its attractive price. The company continues to maintain its strategy, limiting new releases in favor of protecting the quality of its productions. This will be one of Apple’s first sci-fi series, after titles like Foundation.
