Developer Blizzard has announced the ninth expansion for its popular online role-playing game World of Warcraft. The add-on “Dragonflight” takes you to the mysterious Dragon Islands, where players can explore four new areas and reach the new maximum level of 70. There is also new content for players of the “Classic” version.

The developers have not yet revealed exactly when “Dragonflight” will appear. Players of the retro version “WoW Classic”, which brought back the original “World of Warcraft” from 2004 in 2019, can also look forward to new content – if also on known ones. They should be able to dive into the “Wrath of the Lich King” add-on later this year, which first appeared 14 years ago and tells a chilling undead story in the eternal ice.
