PS Plus: The first subscription goodie for May 2022 is already known
With PS Plus you will receive a special bonus in May.
In addition to the free games and discounts, Sony also packs a special goodie into the monthly content for PS Plus from time to time. You can look forward to a free bonus again in May. This time, fans of Call of Duty: Warzone will get their money’s worth, because just in time for the start of Season 3 you can bag some content that will make your start easier (via PlayStation).
The free “Odyssey Combat Pack” is waiting for you at the beginning of May. Sony has maintained a close partnership with Activision for a number of years, which keeps bringing us bonus content on the Playstation. With the takeover of the publisher by Microsoft, however, this should be over in the foreseeable future.

Does Sony want to reconcile the community a little with the bonus goodie? The free games for April certainly didn’t go down too well, even leading to some fans threatening termination.
What was the problem? With Spongebob Squarepants Rehydrated, at least one game was well received by many. However, the community was particularly disappointed by the actual headliner of the month: Hood: Outlaws and Legends. The title was described as a “dead multiplayer game” and Sony was accused of only wanting to increase the number of players for the below-average game.

When will the new PS Plus come out?
In any case, PS Plus will soon be completely turned inside out. The service will be merged by Sony with the streaming service PS Now and divided into three “tiers”. If you only want to use your PS Plus as before, this is still possible with the cheapest subscription for the same price. Sony has not yet revealed when exactly it will start, but it should be ready by summer at the latest.
