Tomorrow you can all buy a PS5 direct from Sony

Sony has been the only retailer to regularly offer PS5 consoles through its own “PlayStation Direct” shop in recent months. And tomorrow, Tuesday, April 26, 2022, you have another chance to purchase one of the coveted consoles in the factory outlet. We will provide you with all the important information.

Unfortunately, the lack of PS5 consoles was still enormous since the beginning of the year. Only Sony had a warehouse sale at least once a month through their own “PlayStation Direct” shop.

The catch: You could only buy a PS5 from Sony in these promotions if you had previously received an email with a personalized link. This link will take you to the Sony shop and you can purchase a PS5 and the corresponding accessories.

In the past, there was often a public sale after the exclusive sale. However, this has not happened since the beginning of the year. See you tomorrow when there’s an open sale for everyone.

After the countdown ends, you will then have 30 minutes to join the queue. Afterwards, all participants will be drawn at random to see who can buy a PS5.

how to pay According to Sony’s official FAQ, there are currently only two payment methods (via direct.playstation.com). At the moment you can pay with either Visa or Mastercard at PlayStation Direct in Germany. There are no other options yet. Invoice, direct debit, bank transfer or Paypal are not accepted.
