Big Twitch streamer already jailed 2 viewers – “I get swatted 3x a week”

The great Twitch streamer and YouTuber Nicholas “Nickmercs” Kolcheff spoke in one of his live broadcasts about how often he swatts a week and has already landed 2 people in jail.

Who is the Streamer and YouTuber?

• Nickmercs has 4.3 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, 6.4 followers on Twitch and an average of over 27,000 viewers on his streams.
• His YouTube channel has been doing a bit worse for some time and he “only” generates around 4-5 million views per month. At its peak, it had over 30 million views.
• However, he is still incredibly successful on Twitch. With over 59,000 active subscribers, Nickmercs ranks third among all streamers, behind only Casimito and xQc.
• Definitely a good investment on the part of Twitch, who secured the 2021 streamer for the platform so he wouldn’t switch to YouTube like many of his peers did.

Nickmercs gets swatted 3x a week, put 2 people in jail

What is swatting? Swatting involves making an 911 call to the police and telling them that someone is posing a serious threat or that a crime has been committed. A special unit then appears in the house of the said person, surrounding the alleged criminal with a drawn gun.

At some point, swatting became a popular way to scare streamers or to prank people out of boredom.

What did the streamer say? His viewers asked him to host a cooking stream with his wife Emumita Bonita. However, Nickmercs did not want to fulfill this wish because he does not want to mix his online life with his private life.

You know that I get swatted about 3 times a week? Literally. And I don’t want you to feel sorry for me, I just want you to understand that if you were in my shoes you wouldn’t want to livestream your people as much – it’s really not a good feeling.

Afterward, a viewer asked, “Still?” to which Nickmercs replied, “Yes, we’ve already sent 2 people to jail and I’m getting ready to do it again.”

As early as 2018, the streamer used a swatting (via YouTube) and also in 2020, Nickmercs shared wild swatting stories from his front yard (via youtube).

Even in 2022, the swatting of the great content creator does not seem to decrease – no wonder that he wants to present as few private people as possible in his streams.
