Chivalry 2: Game gets mounted combat and console server browser

The June Tenosian Invasion update for Chivalry 2 will introduce mounted combat and the console server browser.

Not only will developer Torn Banner Studios and publisher Tripwire Presents release Chivalry 2 on Steam on June 12th, the Tenosian Invasion update will also be available on the same day for all platforms, including Xbox consoles.

With the Chivalry 2: Tenosian Invasion update, players can look forward to a wealth of new content, including the introduction of the savage Tenosian faction, new team objective and team deathmatch maps, armor items, weapon skins, and much more.

For the first time in the history of the Chivalry franchise, combat is introduced on horseback, representing an exciting new style of combat in the genre-defining first-person slasher. And with the new console server browser, you can team up with friends across all platforms.

Experience these four new maps as part of the thrilling Tenosian Invasion:

• Breach of Baudwyn (Team Objective): The Tenosians break through a wall using siege equipment, including the new explosive bombards.
• The Desolation of Askandir (Team Objective): The Freemasons invade a Tenosian port city to destroy its lighthouse and burn down its vast library.
• The Wardenglade Assault (Team Deathmatch Map): The classic open field, now with cavalry!
• Desert (Team Deathmatch Map): A battle on the outskirts of Baudwyn in the dark, cold night.

The new, full-featured mounted combat system gives players the feel of fighting atop a thousand-pound beast of war, including the ability to trample their enemies, land devastating kicks from the front or back, expose their opponents with a lance, and engage in melee combat to fall with fighters on the ground or on horseback.
