Veteran Games Podcast #269: The Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening - News

teasers

In this part of the Zelda series, Link not only washed it up on the mysterious island of Cocolint, but also on a new platform: The Game Boy.

This is an extra episode for ours Patreon-Backers from the $5 class. Here’s how to listen to the full program: https://www.patreon.com/gamesveterans

Link is already a bright little fellow: Link’s Awakening teased amazing things out of the Game Boy handheld in 1993 and was last remastered for the Switch in 2019. The action-adventure dared to break with some traditions of the zeldaseries, which has not diminished its popularity. His fans include a guest veteran Anatoly Locker, who wanted Link’s Awakening as the main theme. Since Heinrich is on vacation this week, Anatol is “allowed” to do the rest of the program with Jörg: news reports, chats, match reports – and because everything is better with music, he has another track from his band project MOC brought.

Game veteran episode 21-2022 (#269) with Jörg Langer and Anatol Locker has a running time of 1:43:15 hours.
