Tarsier Studios: Little Nightmares creators hint at new project

Tarsier Studios (Unternehmen) von Embracer Group

Tarsier developed Little Nightmares 1 and 2 under the publisher Bandai Namco. But now the studios belong to Embracer – so what could the new teaser indicate?

At the end of 2019, the Swedish media group incorporated the video game developer Tarsier. Various well-known brands, including the titles from the Little Nightmares series, stayed with Bandai. However, the studios do not seem to have lost their design flair by any means.

The new one shows a lot teasers, which the Swedish developer has not yet published via Twitter. “We were busy,” is all that is said about it. However, background noise and shaky images indicate that the new game could also go in a direction tinged with horror.

In our test for Little Nightmares 2, we already revealed that Tarsier knows how to deal with “the most intense and exciting moments”. However, the combat system sometimes caused frustration at the time. It remains to be seen whether the team behind the new game will be more successful at this point.
