WoW: Small nerfs and many bugs – hotfixes from June 7th, 2022
A new day, a new batch of hotfixes – it’s been like this in WoW for weeks now and there’s no end in sight. This time the adjustments are mainly concerned with bug fixes, but of course there are also a few nerfs for the raid on board again.
Running a game as complex as WoW on the live server without any bugs or errors is in practice impossible. Nevertheless, the developers should of course not be afraid to try anyway. And so not a week and not a day goes by in WoW on which the developers do not improve, correct or repair some small things with a hotfix. All in the hope of presenting the game as bug-free as possible.
Of course, balancing adjustments are also made at the same time – if these are necessary. And since the WoW developers have apparently decided that these are always and everywhere necessary, we are also getting a few nerfs for the current raid, the Mausoleum of the First, with the current hotfixes. However, the adjustments are very limited and this time only the penultimate boss Rygelon gets a few simplifications.
Wow (buy now ): Hotfixes from June 07th
- Cross faction instances
- Fixed an issue resulting in group finder lists not updating to cross faction when selected.
- Cross-faction party members’ guilds now display the correct faction when checked.
- Dungeons and Raids
- Constructor Xy’mox
- Fixed an issue where Paralyzing Ephemera could be removed prematurely, blocking the achievement.
- prototype pantheon
- Fixed an issue where players could be afflicted by Runecarver’s deathtouch but didn’t have Bastion’s protection to reduce the damage.
- Rygelon
- [Mit Realm-Neustarts] Rygelon’s health has been reduced by 5% on Mythic difficulty.
- [Mit Realm-Neustarts] Rygelon’s auto attack damage has been reduced by 15% on all difficulties.
- Developer Note: Due to bug fixes in 9.2.5, we received feedback that Rygelon was more difficult than intended on later kills in Mythic raids, so we reduced Rygelon’s health to compensate. We’re also reducing Rygelon’s melee damage across the board as it deals significant tank damage, but we want to avoid changing current strategies around Corrupted Strikes.
- Constructor Xy’mox
- items and rewards
- Fixed an issue where passengers could unintentionally gather herbs and ores while riding a multi-passenger mount.
- Fixed an issue where the Chest of Acquired Treasures trinket would not activate if it landed on the Sword buff and was then useless for the rest of the fight.
- Fixed an issue where the Codex of the first technique’s max absorb didn’t increase with the item level of the trinket.
- Fixed an issue that caused Codex of First Technique to unintentionally reflect damage from allies or dead enemies.
- Fixed an issue where the Prehistoric Cloth could not be converted at the Creation Catalyst.
- The Earplugs of Tranquil Concentration toy effect now persists after death.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Resonance Disc to drop continuously when the player’s quest log was full.
- Fixed an issue where Choir Robes sold by Rafiq in Zereth Mortis were refundable.
- Fixed several display issues with the Dark Ranger Cowl.
- player versus player
- magician
- Ice Wall (PvP talent) will no longer occasionally rotate when a nearby player is in stealth mode.
- magician
- quests
- Diretail’s head basket can now be properly interacted with during the quest “Her Enemy’s Head” in Zuldazar.
- Fixed an issue where the torches in “Vol’jin, Son of Sen’jin” could not be interacted with.
- Burning Crusade Classic
- Fixed an issue where the Martyr’s Seal and Seal of Blood were not peeling off the Libram of Hope correctly.
While most of the changes will be implemented immediately, the raid nerfs won’t take effect until the new ID launches on Wednesday morning. However, this has no technical reasons, as is often assumed. The developers just don’t want bosses to get easier or even harder during the ongoing ID. So that nobody has to get angry because their raid days may have been before the nerf and others then benefit from the easier bosses.
