Fortnite stole “Among Us” idea and now they are working together – How to get the new items

The popular imposter mode came into play in Fortnite in 2021. Upon closer inspection, however, it was found that the mode was hard copied from Among Us. Now that the developers of Among Us and Epic Games have exchanged ideas, a cooperation should take place soon and that’s why we’re showing you the items and how to get them.

After this dilemma, the developer of Among Us explained on social networks that he would have preferred to enter into an official cooperation than let it get out of hand like this.

Fortnite then answered online itself on Twitter with the “Among Us” tag, asking if they would not like to cooperate.

What items are there in Fortnite for Among Us? Players in Fortnite have the opportunity to unlock two items related to Among Us. These are the following:

• Distraction Dance emote
• Crew Member – Back Bling

The back accessory is special because you have a choice of 10 different crew member colors if you have unlocked it.

How do I get the items? In order to get the items, you have to Buy Among Us on the Epic Games Store. The game costs €3.99 and must be purchased while logged into your linked Fortnite/Epic Games account. This is how Epic Games knows which account the items should be assigned to.

If you have already purchased Among Us, you will either receive the items as a gift or you will have to purchase a star pack for Among Us in the “Addons” section of the Epic Games Store. There it is enough if you take the cheapest package.

Will they come to the item shop? We don’t know that yet, but it’s quite possible that the items could appear in the item shop at a later date.

How much time do I have to get the items? The offer runs for a relatively long time. You have until June 9th, 2023 to buy Among Us and get the items..
