Dark co-op shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be released on September 13, 2022. Fatshark’s game got a new trailer at the Summer Game Fest.
Vermintide in the 41st Millennium
The trailer shows a team deployed, presumably somewhere deep in the bowels of a hive. The goal: secure power generators that have been sabotaged by heretics.
The bloody gameplay is reminiscent of classics like Left 4 Dead and of course the Warhammer Fantasy co-op slasher Vermintide, which is also being developed by Fatshark. In the gloomy corridors of the hive, the Inquisition’s motley interrogator team slices through hordes of mutants and traitor cultists with laser guns, energy hammers and chainswords.
What is striking here is that details such as the auspex with control runes already show that the developers definitely know what fans expect from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. How Warhammer 40,000 Darktide plays can also be found out in the near future – the co-op shooter is scheduled to appear on September 13, 2022.
