Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is reportedly getting a beta in August

We’ve seen plenty of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 footage by now, most recently a lengthy gameplay demo shown at Summer Game Fest. There was no news about multiplayer for the time being.

Beta could start as early as two months

Now Amazon may have leaked the start of the Modern Warfare 2 beta. Anyone who orders the game from the major retailer will get access to the beta. This pre-order bonus is only valid until August 15th.

“Pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on any platform by August 15, 2022 to unlock early access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Open Beta. […] The codes will be sent on August 15,” it says on the product page from Amazon.

This strongly suggests that the shooter’s beta will begin at this point. The site also states that PlayStation players can start the beta first.

Since August is not long in coming, there will certainly be official information about the test phase soon. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be available on October 28th for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC. here you can pre-order the game for consoles.
