Commandos 3 – HD Remaster: HD Remaster is coming to Xbox Game Pass in September

The classic real-time tactics Commandos 3 gets an HD remaster. It should be available in Microsoft’s Game Pass for PC and Xbox in September.

With the HD remaster of Commandos 3, publisher Kalypso Media and the development team at Raylight Games want to make a tactical classic shine in new splendor. The new version of the stealth tactic sends us behind enemy Nazi lines again in World War II with Green Beret, driver and co.

Commandos 3: Destination Berlin was released in 2003 and, like its predecessors, was developed by Pyro Studios. With revised 3D models and textures, improved controls, a more accessible user interface and a beginner-friendly tutorial, they now want to venture into the hearts of modern tactics fans again – although the crisp level of difficulty should remain the same.

The Commandos 3 – HD Remaster for the PC and the Xbox will be released this year – and will be available in the game pass from the launch.

Story missions and multiplayer content already known

In Commandos 3 – HD Remaster we can face twelve exciting story missions in which we have to choose from over six different special troops that come up with different skills.

More is also known about the multiplayer mode. In addition to the classic deathmatch format, there should also be a collect the flag game mode designed for lobbies between two and eight players. As early as 2020, Commandos 2, a revised version of the classic, was released, which we even reported on in detail in the test at the time.
