Lord of the Rings Series: New Tolkien Book tells of the Fall of Numenor
Tolkien fans are already looking forward to the launch of the new Lord of the rings-series from Amazon, which am September 2nd at Prime video goes to the start. The elaborately designed fantasy series The Rings of Power tells the backstory of director Peter Jackson’s award-winning film trilogies The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
There is now a new book to go with the series The Fall of Númenor from the late JRR Tolkien’s extensive Middle-earth saga, to be released posthumously some 44 years after the publication of his The Silmarillion.
Fans can read the stories contained therein about the sinking of the island of Númenor, the rings of power and that Rising of Sauron read, which are at the center of the new series.
JRR Tolkien’s The Fall of Númenor is out 4th of October in the LotR publishing house HarperCollins in the book trade. You can already buy the book at Amazon preorder.

The new Tolkien book The Fall of Númenor: And Other Tales from the Second Age of Middle-earth based on the well-known Second Age stories contained in The Silmarillion.
His son Christopher Tolkien, who has also died in the meantime and who closely watched over his father’s works and estate after his father’s death, already summarizes the individual stories in the book series “The History of Middle-earth”.
Its sixth chapter “The Tale of Years of the Second Age” now served as a template for the new Tolkien book “The Fall of Númenor” by editor Brian Sibley.
Here were the Original texts by JRR Tolkien used – enriched with 11 colored drawings of the legendary artist Alan Leeonwho already the fantastic Graphics in the Tolkien original editions “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” contributed. He also contributed with his performances as a template for the LotR films, for which he was rewarded with an Oscar award.

The prequel series is set during the Second Age, thousands of years before the events of The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
The is shown Origin of Middle-earth, in which elves, wizards and dwarves settled the kingdoms of Middle-earth. Forging the Rings of Powerwhich includes the fateful One Ring, the rise of the dark lord Sauron, as well as the epic tale of the Isle of Númenor and the last alliance of elves and men face to face are the focus of the series.

Also included Celebrimbor, the Ringsmithwhich among other things also from the video game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor should be known.
