God of War Ragnarök: You still need a lot of patience, Kratos is not ready yet

Sony Santa Monica Creative Director Cory Barlog is once again asking God of War fans for patience. So you have to wait a little longer for a new update to God of War Ragnarök. The director had already put you off in April.

If Kratos can keep his fingers still, so can you

Then on Wednesday, Barlog wrote on Twitter: If it were up to me, I would share all the information as soon as I knew it, but that’s out of my hands. So please be patient. I promise things will be shared at the earliest opportunity.”

God of War Ragnarök was originally supposed to be released in 2021, but as so often in recent years, Corona got in the way. So the much-anticipated game has been pushed back to 2022 to “deliver a quality game while ensuring the safety and well-being” of the team.

More God of War Ragnarok news:

There are mixed rumors surrounding the release date of the PlayStation title. While the studio assured that God of War Ragnarök will definitely come out in 2022, another rumor spoke of another postponement to 2023. Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, on the other hand, says that the title is still planned for this year.

Maybe we’ll know what’s going on soon, because rumor has it that there will be new information about God of War Ragnarök at the end of June. Today, June 30th to be exact. So far, however, there is no sign of a state-of-play stream on the matter.
