Lost Ark: June Update – Patch Notes as of June 30, 2022

Legion Raid Vykas

Vykas is the second legion raid in the western version of Lost Ark after Valtan. In it, you will battle dangerously beguiling members of the Greed Legion before finally confronting Legion Commander Vykas in her “Garden of Scarlet Delight.” There is no revival during combat. Get ready to fight for your life. Vykas is an eight-player Legion raid, has three portals, and brings a whole host of new and special traits, skills, and mechanics. Players must be item level 1430 to play normal mode and 1460 for hard mode.

Guardian Raid Kugelanium

A terrifying force of evil in the Great War, Kungelanium has awakened from its icy slumber with the reappearance of the Demon Legions and the chaos spreading across Arkesia. Along with Deskaluda, the frost predator Kungelanium will enter the gauntlet of powerful Tier 6 Guardians who can be challenged in a Guardian Raid. Kungelanium will be available as an enemy for players of item level 1460 and above. Like other Guardian Raids, you can tackle it alone, with a group, or with up to three other heroes via matchmaking.

Throne Solo Challenge

Throne Spire is a new 50 story single player dungeon experience set in a twisted dimension. In Throne Spire, you’ll fight until time runs out, clearing as many floors and defeating enemies as possible before the Demon Legion catches you. The first 25 floors have first-time completion rewards (you get all the rewards for conquered floors). The second 25 floors are all about fame and gameplay. Here you must prove that you alone are capable of defeating anything the Demon Legions throw at you. Participation is possible from level 1325.

heartbeat island

Need some rest after battling the Demon Legions in the hot summer months in Arkesia? Spend some time at the beach or dance with your friends at the new event island: Heartbeat Island. You can find Heartbeat Island by speaking to Jollous, the festival expert in the major cities, or by sailing there directly (near Anikka). You don’t have to complete a quest in a town to enter the island. Once you arrive on Heartbeat Island, various activities will allow you to collect Festival Coins, which you can exchange for a variety of rewards.

General and comfort adjustments

  • Stronghold research has been added that improves the boost rate of other characters on their journey to item level 1415. This can be researched at item level 1460.
  • Added a CAPTCHA system as an ongoing measure to prevent bots. When entering a new zone, you may be prompted to submit a CAPTCHA text response within a few minutes.
  • The daily login reward series has been updated.
  • Added new settings to change damage font size.
  • Chest contents can now be sorted in alphabetical order.
  • Added preventative measures to limit gold seller activity. New purchases in the shop now have a waiting period of 3 days before they can be traded or transferred from the buyer’s account via mail, trade, gift, or auction house sale.
  • Translations and in-game terms have been updated. For example, Tier 3 Grindstones have been changed from Guardian Stone Crystals to Crystalized Guardian Stone.
