Pokemon Go: Are you still using iOS 13? Then you will soon have a problem

Niantic is discontinuing support for another, older operating system for Pokémon Go.

This time iOS 13, which was released in 2019, is affected.

You won’t be able to play with it anymore

Noisy Following the release of version 0.243 of Pokémon Go, Niantic is no longer able to play the game on iOS devices still using iOS 13.

So you would have to update your operating system if you haven’t already done so, buy a new device or switch to a different one.

If you are not sure which version you have, you can find the answer in the device settings under “Settings > General > About”.

One reason for the cessation of support is probably that not enough players are using this operating system.

Niantic recently stopped supporting Android 6 for the same reason, even though this operating system was a lot older (2015) than iOS 13.
