Pokémon Go: Anniversary Event Research Guide – All Steps and Rewards

It’s time to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the AR app in Pokémon Go, and what’s the invitation? Right, a fat event! And to go along with that, the developers of Pokémon Go have also unlocked the Anniversary Event Research Timed Research. Until July 12, 2022 at 20:00 local time, you have a chance to collect a chunk of rewards by completing the six steps of the Anniversary Event research. Anniversary Event Research – Step 1/6

• Catch 15 Pokemon – Reward: 15 x Poke Ball
• – Catch 5 different types of Pokémon Reward: 10 x Super Ball
• Land 5 good throws – Reward: 5x Hyper Ball
• Land 3 great throws – Reward: 500 XP
• Land 5 curveball throws – Reward: Encounter with Tarnpignon
• Use 10 berries when catching Pokémon – Reward: 500 Stardust

Reward for completing Step 1: Encounter with Pikachu with Anniversary costume, 1 x Knursp

Anniversary Event Research – Step 2/6

• Play with your buddy – Reward: 5 x Raspberries
• Give your buddy a snack – Reward: 5 x Nanab Berry
• Take a snap of your buddy – Reward: 5 x Pineapple Berry
• Fight against another trainer with your buddy who is adventuring with you – Reward: 500 XP
• Earn 5 hearts with your buddy – Reward: Encounter with Eevee
• Earn a candy with your buddy – Reward: 500 Stardust

Reward for completing Step 2: Charmander encounter with party hat, 1 x Gnarl

Anniversary Event Research – Step 3/6

• Take 5 snapshots of Pokémon in the wild – Reward: 5 x potion
• Take a snapshot of Charmander – Reward: 5 x Revives
• Take a snapshot of your buddy – Reward: 15 x Poke Ball
• Take 5 snapshots of different Pokémon – Reward: 500 XP
• Take a snapshot of a Normal-type Pokémon – Reward: Encounter with Meowth
• Take 3 snapshots of different Fire, Grass, or Water-type Pokémon – Reward: 500 Stardust

Reward for completing Step 3: Grillmak Encounter, Unova Stone x1

Anniversary Event Research – Step 4/6

• Spin 5 Gyms or PokéStops – Reward: 20 x Poke Ball
• Hatch an egg – Reward: 3 x Golden Raspberry
• Run 2 kilometers – Reward: 3 x Silver Pineapple Berry
• Earn a candy with your buddy – Reward: 500 XP
• Complete 5 field researches – Reward: 3 x Rare Candy
• Fight 3 times in an arena – Reward: 500 Stardust

Reward for completing Step 4: Kaumalat encounter, 1 x Premium Battle Pass

Anniversary Event Research – Step 5/6

• Send gifts to 5 friends – Reward: 20 x Super Potion
• Send 5 gifts and decorate them with a sticker – Reward: 35 x Revives
• Send 15 Pokemon – Reward: 500 XP
• Fight in 2 raids – Reward: 1 x Instant TM
• Win a Tier 1 Raid or higher – Reward: 1 x Charging TM
• Level Pokémon 10 times – Reward: 500 Stardust
