Elden Ring: Ever beat a boss with a real life harp? (1)

Elden Ring players crave new content for the game. From Software has not yet announced a DLC. As an alleged leak shows, the first DLC for Elden Ring will be released in late 2023 and will be called “Barbarians of the Badlands”.

After the tremendous success of Elden Ring, DLCs would actually be a nobrainer. With previous From-Software games, however, the developer has always taken a different approach when it came to downloadable content. An alleged leak now gives reason to believe that a DLC for Elden Ring is not a question of if, but only of when.

The leak comes from the Twitter user @hy_plus, showing an image of Bandai Namco game titles planned for 2023. From Software partners with Bandai Namco for distribution outside of Japan. In the picture you can see that for that 3rd Quarter 2023 “Elden Ring – Barbarians of the Badlands” it’s planned.

The Twitter user writes in a follow-up tweetthat the leak has spread rapidly in China and that it is not an official picture. It could also be a fake. You can see the picture of the deleted tweet above. In the Elden Ring (buy now ) Community players are already looking forward to a trip to the Badlands.

What do you know about the Badlands?

Outside the Between Lands, Godfrey/Horah Loux lost his Eldenlord title in the Badlands. Most of the Tainted – including Godfrey – died in the Badlands, but were revived in the prologue of Elden Ring and returned to the Between Lands to inherit the Elden Lord’s mantle and begin the events of the game.
