The Lichten Filmkultur association is organizing a major cinema event for several weeks from July 21st. Here you can find out how long the film festival runs and where.
High Rise Cinema: “High-rise metropolis” Frankfurt offers fantastic views from its roofs. The organizers of the Light Film Culture Association use this grandiose setting from July 21 to August 13 for cinema events at dizzying heights.
The four roof terraces of the Opernturm, Taunusturm, Skyline Plaza and the Parks Office will be used as screening locations for the Lights Film Festival. According to the press release, the association is thus implementing a “long-awaited plan”.
He shows classics as well as current films and emphasizes in particular Sönke Wortmann’s “Contra”, since the comedy was shot in Frankfurt. Other items on the program include “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, “Pulp Fiction”, “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Top Gun: Maverick”. The complete program and tickets are available from the Website bookable.
