7 vs. Wild: All information about Season 2 – participants, rules, start and location

Preparations for the second season of survival hit 7 vs. Wild on YouTube are currently in full swing. On MeinMMO we show you all the information about the show.

What is this show?

• 7 vs. Wild is a web show created by German adventurer Fritz Meinecke
• The first season aired on YouTube from November to December 2021, where an average of more than 4 million people watched
• In the show, 7 participants with up to 7 objects of their own choice are abandoned in the wild and have to cope there for 7 days
• There is a point system: Points can be earned in daily challenges, there are deductions for using the first aid kit
• The winner will be crowned whoever endures the longest in the wilderness; in case of a tie, the winner will be determined by points

On June 13, Meinecke announced Season 2. This should come up with new participants, a changed set of rules and a completely different location.

7 vs. Wild: Season 2 – It’s going to the tropics

When does Season 2 7 vs. Wild start? Filming is scheduled to run from August to September 2022. As in the previous year, it will then be broadcast in November and December 2022.

Which participants have agreed? In addition to the organizer Fritz Meinecke, there are 5 other major YouTubers or Twitch streamers. Place number 7 goes to a spectator via a wild card:

• Creator and last year’s winner Fritz Meinecke is the only one to be there again
• Jens “Knossi” Knossala, who discussed participation with his 3-year-old son
• Twitch streamer Antonia “starletnova” can benefit from her Boy Scout experience
• YouTuber Sabrina “Sabrina Outdoor” Camlott loves to be outdoors anyway
• Sascha Huber is mainly on the go with the topics of fitness and nutrition on YouTube
• Otto “Bulletproofentrepreneur” Karasch, who has already done joint projects with Meinecke
• As the 7th, the winner of the wild card will join the 6 internet personalities.

What’s changing with the rules? In the first season, in addition to their clothes, the participants were allowed to take seven additional items from different categories. These are, for example, tools, storage facilities, cooking accessories or a fishing set and a hygiene kit.

For Season 2 Meinecke came up with a balancing system. As a “layman”, Knossi is the only one allowed to take all 7 items with him. For the others, the number is reduced according to their survival experience.

Meinecke himself and Otto Karasch will even have to make do with just one object.

The decision is justified by the fact that the new setting eliminates some aggravating conditions. For example, you hardly have to worry about staying warm.

In addition, many objects could be found on the beach that are washed up there as garbage.

Where is Season 2 7 vs. Wild set? While the first season took place in the Swedish wilderness, this time the participants can look forward to a tropical island.

Back then, the cold was one of the biggest challenges, this time some participants could fail due to lack of drinking water or dangerous animals.

Exactly where the island is located is not announced in advance for security reasons. Meinecke, however, was recently on such a tropical island and also asked questions from the fans there. But compared to the right location, this is pure paradise.
