WoW: Dragonflight: Engineers will soon be able to change the weather and sky
Engineers in WoW are always good for a fun toy. In Dragonflight, however, the Ingis don’t just leave it at the little things, but simply change the weather and, if they want, even the entire sky!
With every new WoW expansion, you can admire the creativity of the Blizzard developers. Either on a large scale, for example when designing the world or the story, or on a small scale, for example with funny items or toys. And especially with those that are made by the engineers, the devs often really let off steam. From the world enlarger about the Gnomish X-ray Goggles until noise robot.
And the developers have let off steam again in Dragonflight. This time, however, they don’t stop with toys that can be used to change one’s own perspective of the world, but also allow the other players to participate. Because thanks to Ingi toys, we can not only change the weather in Dragonflight, but also replace the entire skybox if we wish!
Emitter and emulator – for a prettier world
With the Central precipitation trigger can we change the weather Once the toy is used, it places a console in front of you where you or your fellow players can set the weather. For the next two hours it stays rainy or dusty, depending on your taste.

Of the environmental emulator put one on top of that. Because with this you do not change the weather, but exchange the entire skybox above you for another. It sometimes happens that Stormwind lies on top of one in the Twisting Nether.

By the way, with the “Kick the machine” function, you switch the effect off again and return to the original. It’s also important to note that while the effect applies to the entire party or raid, it doesn’t have a long range. As soon as you are more than about 60 meters away from the respective console, the effect ends. However, if you approach the console again, which has been standing for two hours, the effect will also return.

The two consoles can also be combined for even more fun. A downpour of ash, of course, pairs particularly well with a burning sky, while the snowfall is more at home under the Icecrown skybox. We’re excited to see what happens when the players can’t agree and the sky keeps changing. As we know the art of engineering, the console is likely to explode.
