Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls: All information about the start of season 27

At the Aug. 26 at 5:00 p.m starts season 27 of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. Once again, players can level up a fresh hero from level 1, engage in a new seasonal theme, and reap new rewards. In the official blog post you can see all the class changes etc. We list you the most important information and rewards of the season.

In season 27 of Diablo 3 you have to collect a new resource and use it to upgrade your items, which have a different bonus depending on the class. Those who bravely fight their way through the season will, of course, receive a new portrait frame and a cool pet at the end of the season journey, in addition to old transmog items.

The seasonal theme of season 27 – Light’s Calling

Brave nephalem who recover “Angelic Crucibles”, a new consumable item, can use them to canonize any equippable legendary item and imbue it with one of three new class-specific powers. In the image below you can see an example of a “sanctified” item made with “Angelic Crucibles”.

As usual, transmog items from previous seasons are returning. This time you will get items from season 15 (chest and gloves). As usual, at the very end of your season’s journey, you’ll get a special portrait frame and a new pet. In Season 27, the pet is an undead wolf pup carrying a severed arm and sword.
