AverMedia Live Gamer Extreme 3: Affordable 4K capture card with VRR

The AverMedia Live Gamer Extreme 3 is an affordable 4K capture card with variable refresh rate (VRR) coming soon.

AVerMedia Technologies is pleased to announce the launch of the Live Gamer Extreme 3 (GC551G2).

As AVerMedia’s latest plug-and-play 4K external capture card, it can record up to 4K 30fps in SDR while streaming through games at up to 4K 60fps in HDR. It is also the first AVerMedia capture card to support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR).

With VRR, the Live Gamer Extreme 3 brings out the best performance for a competitive streaming session. VRR allows the monitor and gaming device to sync each frame for smooth, stutter-free gameplay. This allows players to focus on the action without being distracted by graphical lag.

Furthermore, the ultra-low latency function of the Live Gamer Extreme 3 ensures that there is no delay between the game device and the monitor and that the recording signal is forwarded to the live stream at the same speed. With these two features, gamers can enjoy the highest video quality for their games and streams.

And thanks to the use of the UVC standard, the Live Gamer Extreme 3 works right out of the box without the need to install drivers.

On top of that, external audio inputs can be mixed into the stream via the two 3.5 stereo connections of the Live Gamer Extreme 3 and offer the gamers a direct monitoring option.

Gamers can use AVerMedia’s RECentral software to further expand the capabilities of the Live Gamer Extreme 3. RECentral enables simultaneous streaming to multiple platforms with the multi-stream function and recording and streaming in two different resolutions, among many other new features.
