New Tales from the Borderlands: Amazon leaks sequel – release in October

It was already clear that Tales from the Borderlands should get a sequel, and now the first details are available.

Although not entirely intentional, because Amazon put a product page for New Tales from the Borderlands, the name of the sequel, online too early.

The release date was also shown on the product page. New Tales from the Borderlands is expected to be released on October 21, 2022 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

New Tales from the Borderlands was developed internally at Gearbox, and according to the product page, which has since been deleted, the focus is on the characters Fran, Anu and Octavio. These “fight back against ruthless corporate overlords in the perpetually war-torn metropolis of Promethea”.
