You can soon play Homeworld on your table as well, because Modiphius Entertainment has announced the board game Homeworld Fleet Command.

Here you take control of Kushan or Taiidan fleets, Homeworld Fleet Command is designed for one to four players.

What to expect in Homeworld Fleet Command

The board game promises fast and easy-to-learn gameplay with big battles between fighters, corvettes, frigates, destroyers and capital ships.

A crowdfunding campaign for Homeworld Fleet Command is scheduled to start in the second half of 2022. Here you can get the base game and an expansion with new ship models, missions, upgrades, game mechanics and more.

More Homeworld news:

A ten-part campaign with battles such as Return to Kharak, Supernova Station and Tenhauser Gate is planned for the game. The basic game contains 101 plastic ship models, the expansion adds another 100 more.

Additionally, there are solo rules that allow you to face off against a single opponent, or up to four players can share command. It should even be possible to combine several copies of the game for even larger battles.

As far as video games go, Homeworld 3 is currently in development. The game is slated for a PC release in the first half of 2023.
