Diablo 4: Leaked video shows almost an hour of new gameplay

from Sarah Petzold
Almost an hour of new footage from the Diablo 4 Friends and Family beta has surfaced online. The leak includes gameplay footage as well as a glimpse into the game’s shop.

Although the developers of Diablo 4 have already announced many details about the latest offshoot of the A-RPG series in official blog posts, there is hardly any official gameplay material so far. But now a video with specific game scenes has appeared on the Internet, which apparently comes from the Friends and Family beta. A player probably recorded it there or streamed it to friends via Discord.

Leaked video gives insight into Diablo 4’s shop and battles

If you want to see the footage for yourself, you’ll find it two video files on the files.fm platform with a length of almost three quarters of an hour, which show various gameplay scenes from Diablo 4. The videos show, among other things, the fights against normal groups of opponents, but also dialogues with NPCs and smaller puzzles.

Some environments that we see in the videos are still unfinished and sometimes don’t have the right textures. This makes it clear at what early stage of development the test build shown in the leak is still in. So we should keep in mind that the gameplay scenes from the leak can change a lot before the final release of Diablo 4. Of course, this also applies to the GTA 6 leaks.

Speaking of the final release: So far there is still no concrete release date for Diablo 4 and a date for a closed, let alone open beta phase has not yet been set. But we will keep you up to date on this as well as on all other important news about Blizzard’s action role-playing game with us on PC Games Hardware.
