In June, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA, the American trade association for computer and video games) announced that the Electronic Entertainment Expo (short E3) to be held again as an on-site event in 2023. The organizer ReedPop has now published further information about E3 2023 in a press release.

The official part has been extended by one day and will take place from 13.6. until 16.6. held again at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The trade fair, which has also been open to non-professional visitors since 2017, will be similar to the Gamescom, divided into two dates: The E3 Business Days from 13.6. until 15.6. are reserved for trade visitors. The E3 Gamer Days on June 15th and 16th. on the other hand, are open to the general public and are also held in a separate hall. In addition, the organizers want to “support and promote digital partner events that will take place from June 11 and run throughout the fair”.

Due to the corona pandemic, E3 2020 was cancelled, both the event itself and the online event that had been promised as a replacement. E3 2021 only took place online and was completely canceled again this year because the organizers wanted to revise the concept of the fair.
