Only rock, paper, scissors help against the time warp

That’s what it’s about: Stars and Time lets you take on the role of the non-binary character Siffrin. Siffrin is part of a family of adventurous friends on a mission to overthrow a tyrannical ruler. But just as that was almost done, a catastrophe occurred, as a result of which the troupe is now caught in a time warp.

Siffrin is the only person to notice, though. So while everyone else just carries on as before, our main character tries to put an end to the repetition. With each new loop, there are different options for puzzles and dialogues.

Scissors stone paper: But these are not the only game mechanics. As the threatening situation suggests, you’ll also have to contend with deadly enemies – and what better way to do that than with Rock and Paper, scissors, the popular game that can sometimes be used as a decision-making aid in real life… – like us have heard.

The child’s game is the basis for turn-based combat: You really fight with scissors, rock and paper, but of course it won’t be as easy as the original game, where you shape your hands into objects. So that it doesn’t get too boring, the system is expanded with typical role-playing elements, such as effects and punches that go wrong.

Supernatural and Good Food: You can also deal with an ethereal being from the starlight of infinity or simply eat delicious samosas with your friends. If you’re now curious about how much fun the whole thing is, you can download the steam demo. There is no exact date for the full release on PC and Switch yet. All we know is that it should be next year.
